Breaking: Hunchback Reported Gas Leak Weeks Before Notre Dame Blaze

The storied Hunchback of Notre Dame reached out to us for comment regarding the recent fire.  "I'd been smelling gas for awhile.  I spoke with the gargoyles about it to no avail.  I called Frollo too but he's so focused on that thot Esmerelda...  Wait, please don't publish that about Esmerelda.  No, really, I knew I shouldn't have talked to anyone.  The gas, there was a gas smell." he said before hurrying away.  It's not clear if the bell tower is open for habitation or where the Hunchback is currently living since the blaze consumed much of the roof at Notre Dame.  Others we interviewed could not substantiate the Hunchback's claim.
