True Detective Seasons 1 and 3 Better Than the Entirety of The Sopranos

A person's taste in artistic expression was recently brought under scrutiny when they made a wild claim, "The Sopranos is the best television show ever."  An expert on the subject happened to be nearby and disagreed explaining that True Detective seasons 1 and 3 are better.  The person in favor of The Sopranos spiraled out of control in a rant to nowhere while the expert presented a detailed analysis of factual statements.  As the debate picked up a larger audience researchers for the International Institute of Scientific Truth and Knowledge decided to perform a scientific study in order to settle the dispute.  A researcher from the organization commented, "The facts are in.  we have definitive evidence that True Detective is a superior television show."
